Where has the time gone?
Feb 12th
This year is already cruising by! January was fairly uneventful, Feb has started off pretty good. Got my butt out of the house, visited some friends in Seattle for the weekend. Have made a nice new acquaintance. Got confirmation that I get to go to a computer conference I’ve been wanting to attend for years. Gears are rolling for the Moab trip this May.
Let the good times roll… as they may.
What is it…
Feb 3rd
That we look for? I was out tonight with friends, contemplating this question. I look around, see a ton of beautiful faces, but yet under that facade… what lies beneath? As when I head out to such places, I don a nice shirt and such… granted I can’t really fix my hair up too much…. 
but still, I’m not my normal t-shirt/jean self in that setting. But… who is? I see an astonishing woman… is she afraid of dirt or not. You never know… and most times… as proverbial as it may sound… you’ll never get to “kick the tires” to find out. Rarely will you even get chance to question what’s under the hood… let alone see. Which leads me to a whole nother topic….
… WALLS… what are with these stockades people put up. I go to say “hello” to someone at the mailbox and get this cold glare like I just asked them to go do something not even mentionable in a X rated film. I was simply being neighborly, and get such a cold reply… let alone when I try to approach a woman for conversation… I won’t even suffer you with the outcome of such events. We’ll just say it’s not pretty…. so when some lady bitches to you about not being able to find a nice guy… SLAP HER, and say… “Well the next time someone polite says hello… don’t glare at him and walk away without a word.”

Month 2…
Feb 1st
… of nothing in particular… other than this year. Not overly eventful thus far. Found myself burnt out on my online gaming addiction, I’ve finally stepped away for more than a week. I must say I feel very good about it too. It was simply consuming too much time… well, I allowed it to. I quit reading, I quit working out, I quit socializing… I was the me I never wanted to be. Didn’t exactly require a 12 step intervention though.
Aside from that, plans are underway for this years always exciting off-roading adventures. Looking forward to a great year, with a great group of people.
Something else I’d like to achieve this year… less photos… more quality photos. I have had a bad habit of dumping 90% of my photos from a trip to my website. My weeding process has been lax, I really want to get it down to 1-2 pages of GREAT photos per trip. There are lots of fun photos that will not make the cut… but those that may want those… know how to get them.
I’m sitting here writing this during my work day… I’m waiting on two different systems to get installed. Exciting times…. kind of like waiting for the water to boil. You sit and prepare 10 other things while it works its magic.
